Which flower is more expensive roses or tulips?
I love both roses and tulips...I'm trying to decide on wedding bouquets and i want to know, which in your opinion is prettier and which one is least expensive?
Which flower is more expensive roses or tulips?
The prices of roses/tulips depend on their varieties, so I can't say which is cheaper. See the example pictures below.
Wholesale prices of roses range from less than a quarter / stem (short stem, small bloom, low petal count, common color) to more than a few dollars / stem (long stem, big bloom, high petal count, award-winning color).
The same is true for tulips; from less than a quarter / stem to more than a few bucks / stem at wholesale.
So obviously, a bridal bouquet made of, say, two dozen roses (or tulips) can be as "cheap" as $40 (cost + labor + profit) or can be more than a couple of hundred bucks.
For this reason, most of us (florists) want to know how much a bride wants to spend for a particular wedding flower. We then figure out what kind of varieties of roses/tulips we can use within the budget.
Reply:My favorite flower is tulips but my florist said they would be out of season during the summer. I used mostly roses and lillies and I think roses are pretty cheap anyway. You can always do a combination if one of them is too expensive.
Reply:It depends when your wedding is! If it's after mid May tulips will be out of season, so roses would be a lot less expensive.
Roses are always classic and create a nice formal look.
Reply:~~Roses ~~
Reply:i dont know
Reply:Tulips are cheaper and look nice
Reply:tulips are my favourite flower, however I personally have chosen roses. It depends on the time of year you are getting married. You should speak to your florist. Good luck
Reply:I'm not sure about the price of them but I am aware that tulips don't last very long when in a bouquet, due to the heat etc.
I had ivory roses in mine and they lasted all day and night :)
Reply:Roses defiantly.
Reply:It depends on the season and the color which is cheaper. You'd want to ask your florist about it.
I prefer roses, but that's just my taste!
Reply:def. roses
Reply:Roses of course, but i prefer tulips.
Reply:Roses are probably one of the most inexpensive wedding flowers; unless it's in February
Reply:I believe that tulips are cheaper as long as they are in season. I personally prefer tulips if it is a simpler wedding or an outdoor wedding. I always found roses to be so unoriginal, but that is just my personal taste. I have seen beautiful things done with both roses and tulips, so I think if you were going for something more elegant and ornate, pick roses... something simpler and casual, pick tulips.
:-D
Reply:Roses are more expensive. Tulips are nice but keep in mind, they can be so much more amazingly delicate than roses.
Reply:Tulips are cheaper and I think they look nice.
Reply:Roses are more expensive. I'm using silk flowers due to allergies
Reply:Roses in lower quantities is more expensive
Tulips in higher quantities is more expensive
so for your wedding situation i'd go with Roses.make up

Why there is no black flower?
because.....i think god doesnt like black!!!! and its not an attractive colour....anyhow we have so many blacck coloured things in the world that we dont want anymore!!!!
Why there is no black flower?
Here's one. Many flowers are considered Black but have a purple tinge to them.
Reply:There are black flowers. There are cultivated flowers such as tulips and pansies that are black. Many wildflowers have black in them.
Reply:there are ....
pansy ... geranium ... and tulips come in a black ... amongst others
Reply:why because black flowers cant be gifted to your lover!
Reply:who told you there is no black flower there is it is called black lilly and black rose. black lilly you can find in seroy lilly locketed near to manipur and you can find black rose in banglore
Reply:There are black viola, calla, iris...lots of lovely black folliage mondo grass, sambucus, ornamental pepper is gorgeous. http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/vi...
Reply:Flower comes in black too, however flower comes in colour to attract insects and birds(Mostly Red flowers) in order them to help pollinate, pollination and subsequent fruit production is the main purpose of most flowersever, think white flower are not as attract as colour flower, so white have problem attracting insect therefore they use their fragrance to compense these shortcoming.
An experiment with the single card of “orange, yellow, green, violet, and purple” but not with red. With red, the bees are confused and land on the red card “but also on black and on all the dark gray cards”. This experiment shows that bees are red-blind, they think red and black are the same color. There normally flowers are in bright colour not black.
Reply:Because god want to make the king of the flower to be colourful
Reply:i dont know why there is no black flower .but there is black and white flower . u also seen that.ya ,really u i tell ur eyes only.make up

My flower is getting dry, what should I do?
what im gonna do to make it wett oppppps! to make it fresh rather @ L @
My flower is getting dry, what should I do?
Let me moisten it for you with some sweet kisses. If you need it, I could even hose it down for you inside and out and make those soft flower petals come alive.
Reply:Get a room. Report It
Reply:water and fertilizer
so when do i see a real pic? your questions suggest you're not getting enough....
Reply:Hmmm. try some water?
Wait a second- I'm sensing something kinky about this question...
Reply:Let you fingers do the walking!!! if that dont work, your a beautiful woman, some guy out there would be glad to use his tongue on your "flower"!!!!!!!!
Reply:10 lashes with a wet noodle for you. You've been bad !!
Reply:I know special ways of making the flower wetter.
Reply:oral
Reply:thats funny
Reply:I hope it didn't wilt any.
Reply:wait for the rain to fall on them.
Reply:The way i keep my flower's from getting dry is with tender loveing care oppppppppppppppppppps! I mean fresh
Reply:A pressure washer and a REAL pic might be a good start :)
Reply:Nothing better to water your flower than your mind. If you imagine your dreams coming true, the rest will follow.
Reply:Stick a water hose up to it and turn it on wide open.
Reply:astroglide
Reply:i reply to u but the answer is DELIVERY ERROR sorry. THE WORDS shows that u dont have an account with red hot saucy @ yahoo
Reply:tease it to make it fresh and have someone lick it to keep it that way.
Reply:Is that really your picture? Then I'd be glad to help you out with your little problem. Or, if you want to take care of this on your own, give it lots of love. Try a massage, or something.
Reply:Either a guy who knows what he's doing or some helpful products from a near by "specialty" store.
Reply:It's usually a good idea to let your gardener stroke the petals gently, nourish the bush...oooops...I mean "soil" with supplements to get to the root of the problem...if he's a qualified gardner then he'll have the proper tools and must be skillful with em.........
Reply:sounds like you are not getting excited enough. Have him try oral. Your flower should sprout right up. If he doesn't know how, tell him.
Reply:a long licking with my tounge will freshen you right up:)makeup tips
