If you are in a northern growing zone, you will have to bring your passion vine inside for the winter. Leave it in the pot. Give it sun but avoid placing it directly in a window with southern exposure. Treat it as a houseplant for the winter.
Reply:Passifloras are evergreen. You shouldn't have any problems. You don't say where you are. But if it snows where you are it might need protection. I am in SoCal and ours just take over.

Reply:I have tweleve different types of Passion Flower outta the 300. Which state do you live in? If it snows I would place it inside. If it does not snow can you plant it in the ground? They're roots would rather be free.





I live in California and all I have to do is prune it back... and by next spring there it is...
Reply:Passiflora (Passion flower) There are over 400 species of this evergreen to semi-evergreen plant.They are considered very frost hardy to to frost tender depending on species.the only ones frost-hardy north to zone-8 are Passiflora caerulea (Blue passion flower) and Passiflora mollissima (Banana passion flower).Propagate from seed in spring, or from cuttings or layering in summer. They are susceptible to nematodes.performing arts
