Is it okay to buy flowers for someone who works in a flower shop?

just wondering...
Is it okay to buy flowers for someone who works in a flower shop?
Oh yes! in fact, that's all she ever wants! You're so cute by the way!
Reply:JUST GET THEM AN EMPTY " POT " AND LET THEM GROW WHAT THEY WANT !! ANYTHING YOU PUT IN THE POT THEY WONT BE SATISFIED WITH IT.
Reply:Don't know - I suppose it would depend on the person...
Reply:I'd get chocolates if I were you. I'd be sick of the sight and smell of flowers if I was working with them all day!
Reply:Actually, it is quite good form, if the person likes flowers. Oddly enough, some people who work in flower shops never have someone think to give them any (I read that from someone's response to another question a month or so back).

Reply:More than likely they bought the flowers because they were about to be tossed out .

REMEMBER the Florist must guarantee they will last X# of days.
Reply:Of course it is, especially if it is a woman, if it's a man, well can't see any difference,

Flowers are lovely whoever receives them unless of course you intend to give them to my mother, she hates receiving flowers, prefers to see them growing, but I would love to receive flowers even if I worked in a flower shop.
Reply:a very original thought, i bet you no one ever buys them flowers, try to get them some plastic ones i heard they last longer
Reply:yes there probably wishing someone would buy them flowers its nice to recieve a present no matter what it is
Reply:No, it's actually illegal.
Reply:original
Reply:Well, it's not like giving another 100 quids for a billionaire, I suppose.

I thinks it's like giving another baby for a couple who have just had a quad.Reebok
