What do you think of flowers?which flower do you like best and why?

I never met a flower I didn't like, only some that didn't smell so good!


I love the smell of gardenias, peonies and some irises.


I appreciate the beauty and the benefits of the dandelion. Most people want to kill them.


Check this out:Dandelions can be beneficial to a garden ecosystem as well as to human health. Dandelions attract beneficial ladybugs and provide early spring pollen for their food.(1,2) In a study done at the University of Wisconsin, experimental plots with dandelions had more ladybugs than dandelion free plots, and fewer pest aphids, a favorite food of the ladybugs.(2) Dandelions long roots aerate the soil and enable the plant to accumulate minerals,(3) which are added to the soil when the plant dies. uncooked dandelion leaves contains 280 percent of an adult's daily requirement of beta carotene as well as more than half the requirement of vitamin C. Dandelions are also rich in vitamin A.(4, 5)


Dandelions are also used as herbal remedies. The white sap from the stem and root is used as a topical remedy for warts. The whole plant is used as a diuretic and liver stimulant.(6)

I adore flowers, especially sun flowers, they remind me of the sun. Warm, bright and soothing. To me you can't get any better than that. I'm a nature girl, I believe in letting the fairies tend to my gardens, they haven't let me down for 15 years. First thing and most important is believing. Second is to sprinkle your garden with ginger (lightly), place a bowl of milk or wine in your garden and some cake, ask the fairies to tend your garden for you, to keep it safe. Also it helps to build a fairy house for them to dwell. ( All natural materials). Another very important thing, if you or someone else wants to pick a flower or trim a tree, ask the plant first and say why. Example: I want to bring your beauty inside my home or I need to trim your branches so you stay healthy. A good movie to watch is

It is hard to choose a favorite but I think I would say the rose. Only because I have fond memories as a child watching my grandma tending her roses. They were so beautiful.
