Which flower is all year long and doesn't need to be planted agaain for homes?

Orchids will bloom all year round inside the home, providing you are able to mimic it's natural growing conditions. This includes implementing the right temperatures, watering practices and fertilizing program. These conditions are very difficult to maintain, but can be done with a little homework!...

I live on the Gulf Coast. I have Encore Azaleas in my yard and while they don't bloom continuously, they do bloom several times a year and last for a long time. They also do not lose their leaves, so are a pretty shrub even when not blooming. You need to check out a good privately owned nursery where you live for advice. They usually have plants that are acclimated for your area.
Reply:Geraniums. They are pretty sturdy flowers. It depends on your climate, though. I live in California on the coast where they thrive all year long. I prefer the "rose scented" variety.

Reply:Perennials
Reply:I remember at our home in New Jersey, we planted Daffodils outdoors one spring and they continued to bloom years after. Most outdoor flowers that are planted from bulbs continue to bloom each year. Gladiolas are another pretty bulb flower.
Reply:I don't know if you live in the cold north or the warm south such as southern California or Florida, but most flowers do not live year round unless you live in a warm climate. Flowers that come back each year are called perennials. The list is too long to type here as there are thousands of them. Send for free gardening catalogs and each flower will give its description and as to whether it is a perennial. Here are a couple:

Reply:Roses... You need to cut them back before winter but they will grow right back in summer...

Grapes too if you have an overhang... But those are not flowers... Just pretty foliage.
Reply:I like Allysum, it re-seeds itself and flowers all year long. VERY easy to manage.
Reply:Knockout roses - 10 months of blooming and low maitenancenanny
