Which flower do you like, why ?

Lisianthus, lovely summer flowers with lovely colour and beautiful as me.

I got married holding a bouquet of them!
Which flower do you like, why ?
I love all flowers, but my favorite are old fashion petunias and that's for sentimental reasons, I suppose. My grandmother and one of my great-grandmothers grew a lot of petunias and the fragrance reminds me of them and all the happy childhood memories I have of spending time with them.
Reply:I like the roses on my rose bush which blooms from June to September and when they die I think ...of my birthday i'll remember.
Reply:gardinia is my all time favorite they smell so pretty something about the aroma is breathtaking
Reply:My favorite is the hibiscus and all of its variations, they can be varigated or plain, singles or double or even pom pom, they can be a bush or pruned into a tree. We have about 16 varieties of hibiscus growing right now in our yard.
Reply:I like bird of paradise flowers, because they are beautiful and strange-looking, they don't look like flowers at all.
Reply:carnations they smell wonderful

dont like roses cause they have thorns
Reply:'Bluebell.'

I just Love her colouring and the glades she inhabits.

Sash
Reply:RED ROSES AS THEY MAKE ME FEEL ROMANTIC
Reply:chrysanthemum! they are nice smelling, makes u feel optimistic n happy when u see them! Right?
Reply:Mistletoe.

I like it because it is the official state floral emblem of Oklahoma. Yet it's a parasite! :)

My grandpa lives there, and he told me that mistletoe represents something that stays green and vibrant through the toughest of conditions. I still find humor in the fact that the official state floral emblem since 1893--before statehood--is a parasite.

For the record, in 2004, Oklahoma chose the Oklahoma Rose as the "official state flower". But mistletoe is still the official floral emblem.

Survive in the toughest of conditions. Whatever it takes!

:)
Reply:dahlia. it has a variety of colours, all beautiful.

it reminds me of my childhood.
Reply:snowdrop is my favourite, it heralds the end of winter. it's the 1st flower to appear in my garden and i know spring is almost here. it is delicate and very beautiful. also it spreads out so over time the bunches get bigger and widespread.
Reply:Red roses, Tiger Lillies and wild flowers, Bluebells and Periwinkles. Just like the colours
Reply:I don't know, there are lots of type of flowers I like. I have to say red roses. If I had a girlfriend, i am sure she loves them when i give to her during a date.
Reply:There's a California native called the Douglas Iris. It blooms beautifully each spring and is one of the showier natives.

I enjoy it's elegant form and love to ponder how it evolved to be perfectly functional and yet gorgeous to behold.
Reply:snapdragons have a lot of character

and foxgloves

and forget me nots

- all these flowers tell a story about themselves...
Reply:Yellow roses, are beautiful and i also like oriental lillies, they both smell lovely and look pretty too.
Reply:My favs are two wildflowers, common here in Texas: the Bluebonnet (our state flower), and the Indian Blanket. They both remind me of when I was young: visiting my grandparents on summer vacation, playing outside, burning red ants with a magnifying glass... (not really! Ha!).
Reply:My favourite flower is borage (borago officinalis) to quote my source (below): Borage is covered with soft down and has round succulent stems and is about 1 1/2 ft tall. The leaves are large, wrinkled and deep green. It produces a froth of brilliant blue flowers. The fresh herb tastes of cucumber and is cooling hence its associations with passions of the heart. mixed with lemon and sugar in wine (Pimms) it makes a refreshing summer drink which, according to the Victorian Naturalist, Richard Mabey, used to be doled out to thirsty travellers at London railway stations! Mabey writes: "a modern conceit is to freeze the bright blue flowers in ice cubes". The leaves mixed in salads are said to fend off despondency. In many herbals, Viper's Bugloss is considered to be the same plant, but of course they are not. According to some authorities the name borage is a corruption of 'corago' from the latin 'cor' (the heart) and 'ago' (I bring). It certainly brings my heart a flutter when I see these wonderful blue stars shining in my border! Its Pimms o'clock!
